Delete in the app
If you are signed in and online, you can delete your account directly in Work Time:
- Open More, then User.
- Choose Delete account & data.
- For “Delete account completely”, choose the “Open” button—not for “Delete work data” and not for “Set up app again”.
- Confirm the checkbox.
- Press and hold the delete control for about 1.8 seconds (“Press and hold to delete”).
- Confirm in the final dialog with Delete permanently.
This path requires a valid sign-in and an internet connection. If it fails, check the status in the app first and contact support if needed—do not send your password.
Differences between the three options
Delete work data removes working times and related work data, such as overtime history, personal holidays, and duty-plan data. Settings, app setup, user account, and sign-in remain.
Set up app again deletes the work data and resets work-related settings, including working-time, holiday, break, and overtime settings. Setup then starts again. Name, language, user account, sign-in, the informational-email preference, and app appearance remain.
Delete account completely requests final account deletion. Only if the process is completed successfully are the Work Time account and associated active data on the server removed and you signed out.
This does not mean that every technical log, backup, or legally possible retention disappears instantly. See the privacy policy for more information.
Uninstalling the app does not delete the user account or synchronised server data. Before uninstalling, use account deletion in the app or send a deletion request by email.
Deletion request by email
If the app is not installed or the in-app path is not available, you can send a deletion request:
- Email work_time@mv-app.info
- Send the request from the email address registered with your Work Time account as the standard procedure. If you no longer have access to it, state this in your request. An additional identity check is then required. An arbitrary different email address alone is not sufficient for deletion.
- mention “Work Time” and “account deletion” in the subject
- state clearly that the entire account should be deleted (not only individual entries)
- never include your password, access code, or other credentials
